This emotional book is a mixture of the feelings happy and sad. This book is about a boy named Travis, Arliss and their mom. One day, Travis finds a yellow dog that ate all the meat at the dog run. At first, Travis doesn’t really like the dog, but towards the middle of the book, Travis learns to like the dog. I would think that one reason that Travis likes the dog is because the dog saved the family! You’ll have to read the book to find out how. This book is a great melancholy book. It has you happy in one part and sad in another. Also, there is lots of action. I really like this book because of the action and emotional parts so I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Once you read it, I would think that you would say the same thing. Even though this is an amazing book, I wouldn’t recommend this book to everyone. I would not recommend this book to dog lovers because there are sad parts about dogs. This book would be perfect for someone who loves action and is okay with reading about sad dog stories.
