In this outing, Pigeon's feeling a little jealous because the cute little duckling got a cookie and he did not. Pigeon's frustration at the injustice of this situation is as dramatic as ever, offering a great opportunity for a funny and expressive read aloud. The little duckling, perhaps a bit more clever than she initially seems, is able to diffuse Pigeon's anger and win him over in a surprising way.
