Description Accidentally bringing her mother's lunch to school and discovering that the lunch contains a paring knife, seventh-grader Sierra Shepard attempts to turn the knife in to the principal's office and is suspended under the school's zero-tolerance policy, a penalty that leads to an unexpected friendship with a reputed troublemaker.
